The Challenges of Grain Marketing

Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1:30PM EST (12:30PM CST, 11:30AM MST)

What farmers think of as “marketing” is often completely different from marketing in any other industry. Without the proper tools to engage the grain market directly, from a marketing standpoint, there isn’t really any marketing going on at all.

This is why FarmLead’s resident farmer, co-founder and CEO Brennan Turner has joined forces with Kia Mikesh, Vice President of North Dakota Grain Inspection, to provide you with a 60-minute webinar on the challenges facing today’s grain marketer including macro and microeconomic factors, testing, pricing, and eventually selling your grain for the best possible price.

In the webinar you will learn:

  • A real definition of what grain marketing is;

  • The different stages, challenges and benefits of real marketing for grain; and,

  • The best practice approach.
